Survivor Challenge

Remember your Boy Scout days, and having to be prepared to thrive and survive in any circumstance or situation? If so, those skills might come in handy during the popular Survivor Challenge. If not, make sure that at least one team member is familiar with a compass.

Following instructions carefully and correctly is the name of the game. The 3 hour Survivor challenge is a tailor made activity to suit the demographics of each group. People of all fitness levels can participate in the Survivor Challenge. Each team between, 5 and 300 people, receives a compass, a set of instructions and a map. A time frame is given in which all teams need to complete all the Survivor Challenge activities.

The performance of a group, together with clever and careful planning determines the overall winning team. Various areas within the venue will be used as the Survivor Challenge activity is spread out. The groups participating need to have a sense of adventure and will learn to work together to solve problems and reach common goals. Team members need to orientate themselves so as to not get lost. They also need to know everything about their business e.g. co- employees, operations, products, client needs, competition etc. The Survivor Challenge team needs to recognise each others’ weak and strong points and use these to their advantage to strengthen the team.

Outcome of these activities:

  • Teamwork
  • Team dynamics and Morale
  • Leadership Planning
